Weighing Upgrade Costs (iPhone 6s)

I have always used an upgrade on one of the lines to upgrade my phone each year through AT&T. Here is my break down of costs if you plan to upgrade each year. Please tell me if there is anything I am missing. This is using iPhone 6s 64GB version.
Next 12: $400 each year
$37.50 x 12 months = $450 a year - $50 profit from buying out and selling (I can pay out $300 and sell phone at $350) = $400 each year
2-year contract: $250 each year (Assuming a line upgrade is available each year)
$25 month fee x 12 months = $300 a year + $300 to buy - $350 selling old phone= $250 each year.
Apple Plan: $439 each year
$36.58 x 12 months= ~$439 per year (Would not sell since buyout is more than I could sell it for.)
In summary, it looks like no matter what I should go with the subsidized 2 year contract. It is still cheaper even if I pay for AppleCare on my own.

On Next 12 you don't own the phone until 20 months. You trade the phone back in to get the next one. Apple plan works the same way. Trade in your phone to get the next one.

I have that in each one. I discounted the price in the Next plan by $50 because I can buy it out and sell it for more than the buyout. The Apple plan's buyout would be more than I could sell it since it is a 24 month plan instead of Next's 20 months.

But you can only upgrade every two years.

I bit the bullet and went with the Next 12.

Did you miss the words were I say assume an upgrade is every year. My account has a million lines, so I always have one I can use.

As others have hinted, you are using upgrades from other lines which are all paying a 25/month premium for you to use upgrades even though many of the lines don't get to be upgraded because you are using it instead.
So it's not a 25/month premium, it's more like 50, at least

Thanks. I did miss the $25/month on 2 lines. That does make a huge difference. That's why I come here to check. Croacka, you just saved me a couple hundred dollars.
