Anyone know of one that's not too expensive in Baton Rouge?

If you want to do it cheaply, see if there are some local up-and-comers/amateurs on Craigslist/Facebook/etc. I'd only recommend that if you already have a good photographer lined up already so that you aren't relying on some hobby business as your sole source of documenting your wedding day.
I found our videographer on Craigslist just a couple weeks before the wedding. We weren't planning on having a videographer at all, but some guys trying to get into the business posted an ad on Craigslist saying that they were willing to provide free videography to use in their portfolio. Figured why not look into it, and ultimately these guys did about $2,000 worth of videography work for us for free. They did such an amazing job that my dad offered them a sizeable tip, but they declined it. Unfortunately, I don't think their business ever took off, but of course those types of businesses rarely do.
Although... ask me how many times we've watched the DVD of our wedding.

I second doing it cheaply. Almost 3 years later and we have watched our wedding video maybe 3 times total. I mainly just wanted to have the actual ceremony videotaped, figured it would be nice to be able to watch that later on, especially down the road after both my parents pass away. Didn't need the whole day recorded. I just found a local company in the area I got married in and found one that had a very basic package for less than $500. Granted mine doesn't look like a mini movie like some of these other ones you see companies doing....but I didn't waste thousands of dollars on something I'm only gonna watch maybe once a year(on my anniversary) if even that.

Skip it. I still haven't watched mine from 8 years ago.
