are you somehow implying that people will stop going to the stadium because they can't use data on their phones?
you can't be serious can you?
"the experience" is being at the stadium.

I have an iPhone6 on ATT and I had fantastic reception in the south endzone, lower bowl. I was streaming clips, sending messages in an app, texts, even a call, iMessages. The whole deal.
Best reception with ATT I've had in the stadium since I started going consistently in 2007.
The main thing I was using my phone though was to check stats of the LSU game and asking friends in front of TV's things about the game like calls, placement, etc.

Yea, I don't know about all that.
The data coverage was certainly a bonus, but I've attended games for 25 years without it, so I can't see it as being much of a determining factor in whether I attend or not.
I go for the game. It's enjoyable to read the scoreboard melt during TV timeouts and halftime, but it's not a necessity.

Dude behind me in the SEZ (Verizon) was from Austin and was showing us the streaming replay of the finish of the Mich/Michigan State game on his iPhone 6 about 30 seconds before LSU put it up on the replay boards.
Don't recall them showing this on the big boards.
I have Verizon, and could do nothing during the Florida game. Sat in the East lower.
Coudln't do anythign for EMU in the east lower either.
Sat in the south stadium club for USC and it worked.
I wouldn't need the internet in the stadium if they would show fricking scores on the ribbon banners more.
When i had AT&T, it never worked in the stadium. I got Verizon about 5 years ago and it's worked just fine every year but this year for me.

Haven't had a single problem with AT&T in the NEZ yet this year. It's been much better this year than ever before. I text pics to my dad at least once a game and we text the whole game, never had a problem yet.
