Posting from the Audi wifi right now. Wife is driving.

It does two things for me. First I don't have to use my phones data plan.

Secondly my nav is Google maps which is cool as frick.

rented a chevy vehicle with wifi recently, used it to listen to Pandora, but I have Pandora on my phone so I couldn't understand the use - great option but I agree with others that its going to take away from of focus of driving.

We have a blue ray player in the dash with a flip down TV for the rear passangers.

I am trying to avoid the need for disks. I can load the movies onto a SD card as the vehicle has a reader for that.

I was looking to find a way to stream netflix. apple TV seems to be the best bet but it still needs a signal.

I need to try and do this. Can you put that blu ray torrent in the Yukon on your card and view the movie?

Let's say they watch 10 hours of netflix a month (20 minutes a day). that's what, like 15-20 GB?

There is no way that's right. I've watched 80+ hours of netflix a week on my LTE connection on my phone before, and never been over 12 GB.

blueray TV and multiple devices?

Stream Blu-ray movies from a player to a TV?

You can add wifi in your car, Verizon is the fastest with the 4GLTE network they have. With that you can stream movies in your car, HD quality probably.

I think that is what you were asking. About $50 a month for service.
