I bought one of these a while back as a secondary drive to put media and such on. Very good deal.

Newegg is selling a Chronos 480gb SSD for the same price, in case anyone is looking at other options.

Maybe I am just weird, but I just can't make myself buy an SSD that is not Samsung, Intel, or Crucial

I understand the Samsung preference (despite the 840/Evo blunder), but Intel's SSDs are basically generic nowadays, no longer using in-house controller chips. I think they're all Sandforce now, with some Marvells possibly still out there.
Also, A-Data is an often overlooked but good brand, usually ignored because they don't have as much name recognition in other markets, and they're not trying to lead the pack in benchmarks or breakthrough NAND manufacturing processes. They generally use Micron NAND and a variety of tried and true controllers.

Ok... did the deal but bought the 256ssd for 71.99 for my old Acer laptop. (giving my 2 in 1 Asus to my daughter for school)
So I got new ssd and new battery for laptop for under $100 bucks.
I think it comes with the clone software if not I may need some help with that...
Thanks for the heads up!!!
