My video card has 3 slots: 1 VGA, 2 HDMI.

I want arrange my work/entertainment space as follows:

Main monitor (1) with an extended display (2), and a TV that mirrors the main monitor (3).

Is this possible on the same video card with 3 monitor cables? Are there too many permissions to run, or will I have to get a splitter for main monitor and TV to automatically mirror it?

I have 3 on one card.

I also have ADHD although I think that showed up when I moved to 2 monitors.

Depends on the model of the card..Some will only export (2) at a time

I just added a 4th to my co-worker's workstation. Looks like fricking mission control.

We can't help you unless you help us, Pecturino. What card do you have?

Depends on the video card. I've seen that most cards that have 3 inputs only support up to two running at one time. It would be pretty easy to get a USB to HDMI adapter if you wanted a 3rd separate one.

Three independent display controllers
Drive three displays simultaneously with independent resolutions, refresh rates, color controls, and video overlays

Although, with only 512Vram, I would be surprised if it handles two

Looking around it sounds like the answer is no. I'd recommend the USB solution that Musick posted.

I've also seen the more recent Dell monitors that support daisy chaining for multiple monitors. Sure other brands have same capabilities for some models

lulz, you don't understand that he basically only listed a GPU because AIB partners produce variations at their discretion. For example, how do we know it's not the 1GB version? Secondly, not every 5670 video card has a displayport. If we are to believe OP's assessment of the available ports on his card, he would not be able to run 3 monitors. If he is mistaking a display port for an HDMI port (they do look kind of similar to anyone who has no idea what a displayport is), then he can indeed run 3 monitors.

So the only thing we need to ask to OP is whether one of those HDMI ports is actually a displayport. Awaiting your response, OP. Perhaps a photo of the ports is in order.

I give OP benefit of the doubt..If he knew enough to post the model, he knows enough...We have onboard video that can produce three separate outputs...I would believe any video card (short of a laptop) could run three

But you would be wrong, especially in older cards. Nowadays pretty much all motherboards (intel, at least) and dedicated video cards have displayports. That wasn't the case 6 years ago. I'm willing to educate those willing to be educated.

And every forum I've checked says that despite it saying it will everyone has had issues getting more than 2 monitors to work.

ETA: something about stick your head up a bull's arse

But you won't accept that OP posted his card, and I posted the specs which proves you and the other dick wrong...

Got it
