I'd warn Against Cox though. I've had just their Internet for years now. Decided to switch from DirecTV and combine again With Cox. I called and wanted their basic package plus the extra sports pack for 10$ which was described to me as being all about 60$ or so. I got a dvr and two mini boxes. When I called to confirm something my bill had gone up about 95 and I was pissed.

Not that their services aren't good, but I don't know of a package they have at all that's only 40$ combined. There's some fees or something else they don't tel you about.we

What do you folks do for local channels? I'm assuming sling credentials won't work for watch nbc, CBS, Fox?

I wonder if a Cox Internet only login account would work for those?

I have KODI and use USTV Now. Allows me to stream all my locals.

An antenna would work better but I don't want to run a line in my attic unless I have to

For example, we have a new appletv and there is no slingtv app for appletv.

If you have an iPhone/iPad, you can download the slingtv app on it and mirror to your appletv. That's what I've done.

I just cancelled my Sling account today. Realized I wasn't using it enough to need it, so I'm back to Hulu, Netflix and my parents TWC log-in
