Seeing a 55 inch tcl roku 4k tv for $399. Thinking about getting it for my bedroom. Anyone have any experience with one?

TV won’t win any awards for being the best, but at its price point it cleans house with the other TVs. It’s a great TV for the price.

Wire cutter claims the 55P607 as the best TV to buy (for the money) currently.

Same exact model I have, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Also have the 50" non-4K in my bedroom that is great. These built in Rokus have me hooked on roku, and I've thrown my chromecasts in a box in my closet.

Considering upgrading the 55" 4K to the 65" and moving the 55 to my bedroom.

I just bought one at Best Buy two weeks ago for my living room. My daughter watches TV in the living room. I bought the 55" TCL TV because of the price point and not having to also purchase another Roku 4K box to go with it.

So far it has turned out to be a great purchase. She is very pleased with it.

I mentioned in an other thread I own 2 TCL tvs. Smaller though. CNET mentioned in an article I read that the TCL tvs are equivalent to bigger name brands on the smaller TVs but are lacking in quality and excellence on the bigger. So, the 55 while cheap is probably also not as good as the others as well.

Have the 2016 TCL Roku Fiddy Inch LED hung outside on my wall under my patio. I ran electric to the outlet I had a guy installed, then used a little saws all and installed the wall mount and then hung the TV.

Plugged it into the outlet and that's it. No coax or Ethernet. Pulls off my internet in the house. It's been fantastic.

$378 on Amazon.

Looks good for the price. You aren't getting the latest and greatest panel. Do you need that in your BR? Go to Best Buy and look at the picture in person (Walmart, Sam's, and Costco also have them in some stores). I think the picture is just fine and would watch it anywhere but I'm not a videophile. If I were I probably wouldn't have considered TCL sets in the first place.

I bought a 32" Sharp with Roku built in for some ridiculously cheap price. I use it to watch LSU baseball and other sports on the patio via WatchESPN. Plug and play.

I've been very pleased with it.
