ATT's unlimited plan is the worst of the major carriers, not to mention the most expensive. I'm considering switching to T-Mobile but I was wondering if I can bring our iPhone (6s and 6s plus) over to T-Mobile with us or would we have to get new phones. If we can how hard is it to unlock them and what is the process? Is it a simple phone call to ATT??

I have ATT unlimited and have had it for 8 years and it's been solid. What's the problem?

If you are out of contract you should be able to contact ATT to unlock the phone. I know that Verizon no longer locks their iPhones starting with the 6.

If you still owe money for your contract or devices, if you trade in a phone and buy a phone they will pay your etf.

The good thing is that all they require is any working phone to trade in, so use some old phone or buy a cheap one. Plus if you want to use your current phone you can just buy the 20 dollar phone from T-Mobile. Get a new SIM to put in your iPhones and it will work.

It's more expensive than the others, but I now pay the same for 12 more high speed gigs than I had. With verizon, I got tired of going over my data every month even wit monitoring my usage. Since the switch, same usage with a cheaper bill and have went over.

I switched from prepaid ATT to a T mobile plan and only made it about 2 weeks before I had to transfer back.

T Mobile coverage sucked unless you were in town. Anytime between citys I would loose service.

The service is atrocious. Just switched to Verizon because I couldn't handle all the dropped calls anymore.

been on Straight Talk for 5 years now. Never had one problem. They use ATT and Verizon towers depending on which phone you have.

T-Mobile hasn't sucked in over 2 years. Networks are in a perpetual state of improvement and none of them have improved more than T-Mobile.
