Tell me your setup.

What kind of projector? One with Built in wifi?

Chromecast plugged into projector and then streaming ESPN app? (would built in wifi be necessary if I use Chromecast?)

Just run HDMI cable from indoors? I am wanting to do this for outdoor movies, you know for the kids and maybe some football.

Plug mine into a laptop. My projector is an older Dell and is only SD, but it was free and has a really good picture for SD

I use Chromecast or FireTV stick on mine with and external speaker hooked to the projector. I have unlimited data and an Android with a custom ROM to use the hotspot feature. I use this setup for games while camping during football season.

That is the projector I use along with a kicker Amphitheatre speaker for external sound and a portable roll up tripod 100" screen.
