Ehhh, not really. Most people in here are just uninformed.
95% of the posts are bitching about the bundle price while completely ignoring the fact that A La Carte channels were announced at E3.
And then if you do a simple Google and compare it to Sling, you will get nothing but reviews telling you how much the quality of Vue shits on Sling very very badly.
CNET for example:
The a la carte channels start in July, as announced on Monday at E3. Vue is just barely getting going in the big picture.

CNET for example:

Vue's channel selection is far superior both in quantity and quality or popularity, and it doesn't have most of the pesky caveats of Sling, such as an inability to pause, skip commercials or stream to more than one device at the same time.
In short, Vue is a lot more like a traditional cable TV subscription with all the fixings, while Sling is very much stripped-down and closer to the ideal of a la carte TV -- albeit "live only" for the most part.

And thanks to cloud storage, PS Vue also features what Sony's calling a "virtually unlimited" DVR. It's the company's take on a streaming experience that "redefines television."
Things like DVR management and channel guides have been carefully reconsidered for Vue to give consumers painless entry points to programming. Say, for example, you favorite a show by adding it to "My Shows." Vue will then store a backlog of every episode currently airing, available via Catch Up or On Demand in one fluid stream. That's across all participating networks, too.

I literally just cut the cord on direct tv. I'm doing just fine with my Netflix and my buddy's espn log in, but I am excited about this
This isn't cutting the cord, it's stealing

Have they said how much individual channels will cost a la carte?
