Come on Android..I want to go back to you, why do you make it so difficult?

Exactly. And if you watch the test, it shows that he can't even complete the test a second time because the stopwatch app kept closing. That's a sign of shitty memory management courtesy of Samsung, not Android.

It's weird that the speed test seemed to be based primarily on read speed but the author is acting like it's a CPU comparison.

Thoughts so far on the S7 Edge?

Also, what phone did you upgrade from?

It doesn't make sense to me to have the absolute fastest phone even if it is by a minuscule amount. Your phone will be the slowest in a month or two anyways. We all want speed and fluidity but this is to an extreme imo.

There is something to be said for the way Apple has implemented app integration vs. manufacturers of Android handsets. Add that to the fact that besides Nexus phones, most androids are very hit and miss when it comes to updates (I remember calling HTC asking when TF I was going to get Jelly Bean after waiting 3 months too long). Samsung always has gorgeous devices..it's just not a completely fluid OS that its working with as a result of touchwiz/bloatware

Good news is, as is inevitable, that Apple is becoming more like android, albeit slowly..at least in terms of features...and Android is slowly becoming more consistent with app updates and less crashing, more akin to Apple..better integration developers apps to performance of those apps individually and as a whole on Android.

Google really should stop allowing Samsung and HTC to build their own UI on top of Android. All it does it slow the phone down and use more battery.

I'm watching the video without sound, and he's measuring speed by hand based on opening apps?

You can adjust the transition settings on the galaxy line and all Android phones to make this faster

HTC's Sense has been one of the best Android skins over the years. TouchWiz has been shite since the beginning and still is
