I'm sold on the Neato Botvac, but which model should I get? It seems like the only difference is the number/type of filters and the brushes. So just get the basic and buy up the accessories if needed?

We´re running Roomba 780. Pretty happy with it, is the general home consensus.

im too lazy to research but do any of these have an automated trash bin dump at the base?

seems the achilles heel on these would be the meagar trash collector on the robot itself.

Pretty much correct. Just get the one that suits your flooring needs best.

NO

Meager in comparison to a convention vacuum? Maybe. Ours is probably 2x3x10 inches. Easy to dump.

seems dumb to have a vacuum you can schedule to automatically clean and recharge that you have to constantly babysit the trash bin on.

Do you mean to say it should incinerate/consume it´s collections/garbage content?

I'm saying it should handle that automatically.

We've had this technology since the 1970s.

Neato botvac from costco. Around 299 and is very quiet and has a very large bin. Costco is also good at taking anything back.
