Ok we need a phone just until our upgrade in September. (Not eligible for anything other than paying full retail price, as the phone is 100% shattered and dead) what is our best option. Currently using iPhones but NOT at all necessary to continue...

Who still does upgrades? I thought your options now were paying full price or signing up for one of the payment plans to finance it over the contract.

Cheapest way for an iPhone is gonna be me giving you a 4 I have laying around. Cheapest android that's good enough for several months will run you under $100 with a case from amazon.

If you have Amazon Prime you can get a Blu R1 HD with 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM for $59.99 with ads on the lock screen but you'll have to wait until July 12. The other option I would look at is searching swappa.com and finding something cheap.

Zenphone 2E is 60 bucks or if you want a very good phone for 170 the honor 5x is available at Amazon warehouse.
