I'm ready to get rid of this note 4. It's not a terrible phone but lack of updates from Samsung killed it for me. I'm done with Samsung phones unless they can prove a track record of quick updates.
Same. Unfortunately I owe on it, so I may buy it out and Ebay it rather than living with it forever.

And with the highest option being 32 GB for the 5x, that is a restrictive amount of storage.

so close yet so far Google

I had about $200 left on my S5. I just paid it right there. But now I don't know which phone to get.

I would go for a vanilla android phone that updates really quickly. I LOVE my nexus 10 tablet. It updates all the time and always runs good.

That all seems worse than my Note 4.

That was for the 5x, not 6P.

Guys: I currently have a iPhone 4s. Looking to upgrade to the nexus 6 (not P). Good move? Not up to date on androi phones, but I can get this for $350 at Best Buy. I just surf the net and play games. Any major updates to the P?

I wonder when the review embargo is lifted with such a late ship date?

at that price, the 6 is a steal and it has wireless charging which the 6P doesn't have. The 6P introduces slightly bigger battery, newer processor (this doesn't really matter to me as I currently have an LG G2 and it's still very fast), presumably better camera, better screen

price per spec is the best deal around for a phone at the moment
plus, you can do project fi with it, which you may be interested in.

Just ordered my 5X. Mildly bummed about no removable storage, but hyped about vastly improved camera (good to catch up with iphone on the slo mo) and front-facing speakers. If the speakers turn out to be garbage in early reviews, I'll return it. I didn't used to care about that, but my M7 really spoiled me in that regard.

I'd go moto x pure.
But the 6 is still a great deal for the specs. I just don't like the size.

Just FYI, if you root the N5X or N6P, you will not be able to use Android Pay. Won't let you add a card.
Hide My Root MAY work to add a card, but may not.
Some have said rooting will cause the fingerprint scanner not to work as well, but that seems to be false, given that other Android phones with fingerprint scanners and root, work just fine.
