I'm thinking about having multiple Ecobee units, along with multiple sensors.

I would have 1 on my main floor, and it would be connected to 2 sensors also on that floor.

The second would be on the second level, with 3 sensors connected to that thermostat.

Would this setup be an issue? Would each of the thermostats interfere with the sensors connected to the other?

This sounds similar to the setup I will have. if I understand you will connect the sensor to whichever ecobee you want and it will control only the rooms paired to it.

You can sync the thermostats together and integrate them as much or as little as you would like.

Yes, I spoke with both companies before I purchased them. Should be done by June.
