Miracast (or something similar) on a desktop PC to TV ??

here's the scenario... at my office I want to be able to share/project one of my monitors to a TV hanging on my wall. This will be used for training purposes in my office. I am tired of everyone hovering over my shoulder. I don't have a easy path to run a long HDMI and I can't install a wifi card in my PC. If my desktop PC were a surface pro or even a plain laptop, this wouldn't be a problem. However, that isn't the case.
What are my options for screen sharing? Just to clarify... I'm fine if the solution works as an additional monitor or shares one of my existing monitors. TIA

Why can't you do a PC card? Can you use a dongle (hehe, I said dongle)?
When I need WiFi on a desktop I use the WiFi dongle that came with my 2011 LG TV.
Eta: You won't need WiFi on your PC unless it's on a different network than the TV would be. That would suck because you have to disconnect from one network to get on the other.
Do you have the TV yet?

Maybe this
I think you may at least need USB Wifi on your PC though.
Beyond that, maybe a wireless HDMI Extender

That's the solution that I was thinking about before I posted. I was hoping there were better options out there. For example, I have an infocus device but the video quality is pretty crappy and it doesn't play nice with windows 10.

Put a Chromecast or Fire Stick on the tv and then use Chrome's casting feature to throw your desktop on the tv. It won't be good for streaming a movie but it will work just fine for training.

Probably be very helpful to state what your PC is and its specs. Most of what you need to know has been stated in the thread though. They're a little pricey, but you'd probably be best to go to BestBuy, etc or check youtube.
