I'm pretty sure 4k only exists in progressive.

Good idea to push their 4K genie.

Is it being filmed/recorded in 4K? That would be ESPNs and CBS call and I'd be surprised if they did

It has to be a genie mini? I'm assuming the main box already would be able to do it?

you'll also require a 4K Genie Mini set-top box and (of course) a 4K TV.
Says a 4K Genie. Guessing this is new.

Looks like it will only be Amens Corner (11,12,and 13) that will have the 4K broadcast from CBS/Directcv

It's not new. The main DVR is capable of 4K but in the Directv current system you have to have the mini genie on the TV you want to view 4K content on if it's coming from Directv. We had the mini 4K installed on the main tv and the actual DVR moved to the bedroom and they have to be wired together. no wireless for these. Next gen set top boxes are supposed to correct this and the actual DVR will supply the 4K content. Pretty sure a new dish is required as well.
