Which extensions are recommended for shopping price comparison and blocking unwanted ads and/or pop-ups?

Or any other notable extensions that make your browsing experience more enjoyable?

I'm not quite ready to make the jump, but I'll be monitoring this thread just to see what is recommended.

AdBlock, AdBlock Plus, AdBlock for YouTube.

Hangouts, Google Play Music...if you are Android.

FF kept crashing and/or hanging my computer. Didn't want to switch, but finally had enough.

I can't see switching until Chrome makes it possible to drag a tab to bookmark. That lock thing is just not intuitive enough.

I highly HIGHLY recommend magic actions for YouTube instead.

So many more options, literally has 50 options. Mouse wheel for volume, auto HD, hide ads, auto widescreen, bypass country, enable cinema + size, speed booster for faster preloaded/buffering, auto hide player controls, auto hide annotations, auto mp4/avc when available, day/night mode.

Ad Block is a must.

I recently got The Great Suspender to keep my Chrome memory usage down. It's great if you have a ton of tabs open all of the time. It suspends tabs that you haven't opened after a preset time.

Thanks for sharing this. Just plugged it in. Pretty awesome. By the end of an average day, I must have 40 tabs open...

I'm going to try this out. When I go on research binges with 100+ tabs across several windows, I can reach 8-10GB of RAM usage in Chrome tabs/windows alone.
