I enjoyed my old Nexus 7, but am open to trying anything. What are the pros and cons of the current crop of tablets?

Depends on what you use the tablet for. Personally tablets serve no purpose for me and I have to force myself to use them. If you're a gamer and prefer stock android the nexus 9 is unmatched. The newest Galaxy pro line is supposed great for productivity and the Ipad air 2 is a good babysitter if you have kids.

Kind of the same. I have a Nexus 9. It's good, but I kind of have to think about using it or else it just sits there. Once I do use it, I tend to keep using it for a couple days before reverting to just doing everything on my laptop again for a month straight.
