Though the TV will be available in 75-inch and 65-inch varieties, only the 65-inch Signature W7 model appears to be available for pre-order at this time. We have no details on when exactly the TV will ship, but when LG unveiled the TV, it said that it planned to begin shipping toward the end of March. Pictures are impressive, but to truly appreciate just how thin the TV’s panel is — 1/10 of an inch thick, to be exact — you’ll need to see it in person. Fortunately this can be done, providing you live close to one of a few Best Buy Magnolia locations that are showing the TV. Currently, only a handful of locations in California, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, and Nevada are showing the TV, but more will likely get the W-Series in as it gets closer to its ship date.

Yeah it's pretty dang close to my perfect TV.

Game changer when you can hang the TV with magnets or command hooks. Makes those metal TV mounts look like dinosaurs.

Yeah. Want. I'd like to see the jack pack on the sound bar.

It gets hung by two keyholes with magnets on the bottom.

Have a buddy who's an LG distributor. Looks like I need to give him a call to see it because I know he'll get it and display it.

I get dealer pricing.

Too bad TV margins suck.

Modular tiles are going to be better than this wallpaper TV.

I'm a bit confused. How does the power and input plugs not protrude through the screen?

They're all on the sound bar. The ribbon cable carries power and the video signal.

Kind of a gimmick if you ask me. A lot of the hardware is in the soundbar, which has to be wired to the tv. In the example it looks like they've drilled through the wall. If you're going to do that I don't see how it's better to have an 8,000 flat tv with a hole in your wall vs cutting out a recess and setting a $1000 TV in it so the screen is flush. Plus I thought the consensus now was that curved tv's are a better viewing experience anyway?

And the ribbon cable is not in-wall rated per electrical code. Pretty stupid IMO.

Also find it funny LG is introducing a new line of LCD displays at the show.

really??

Tvs should be ultra thin and shipped in a wrapping paper cardboard tube.

A tiny ribbon should then connect to the edge which then flows to an AVR/soundbar with your 487 inputs.

Your TV is then free to live anywhere. Why do think this is a gimmick?

What Sony is doing is even cooler. The screen itself is the speakers of the TV.

Sony is introducing some OLED models which is funny since they have been beating them up for the past several years. Looks to be more of a price point thing with a the buzzword "OLED" that ignorant consumers will jump on.

Ya once we get to walls that can be TVs themselves then we're there.

What is cool about that is you could "paint" your house without painting at all too
