Because it doesn't have a hard drive

Whoops...the 256gb SSD didn't show. It's there, though
This is the HD:
256GB PCIe NVMe OPAL2.0 Solid State Drive SSD

Yup. Trying to make sure I didn't get ripped off

No, until they come looking for your lenovo credentials!

It's a solid deal? Provided it doesn't get cancelled
Posted on 11/22/16 at 10:10 pm to TheOcean
Its solid especially with the 40% off with the perk. Ive been eyeing and likely to do the same. Just havent pulled the trigger yet. Likely tomorrow. I see the Kobe beef is back on sale at Costco!
I cant find the number of usb ports on it
nm found them:
2x USB 3.0
1x USB 2.0
1x HDMI
1x VGA

I'm in for 4 on the Kobe beef deal -- standard Slickdeals lame joke

did adding the SSD make it 590?
Also the only downside is the 256 drive. Thats not much room if you plan to do some heavy downloading and keeping stuff. Make sure you move it off to keep it free

You select none for the HD and the SSD auto populates. It's 552 with the SSD without tax. If you live in a tax free state...jackpot my friend. Im not so lucky

It depends on what you plan on using it for. Posting on Tigerdroppings 75% of the time? Bad deal.

What would you recommend for a browsing/media laptop that will last a few years

However, I would add a 4TB External HD for about $100. That SSD will fill up faster than you think.

I've been looking at Lenovo's. They specs are great for that price. Couldn't find that configuration on Lenovo's site.
I wonder what the difference between E570 and 560T is. Build quality? Weight? Because the specs on the E570 are better than $1,000 560Ts

Thinkpads are the GOAT. Those specs are really good for a work computer. Little bit of overkill for just browsing the internet.
I will say that if you plan on using it to watch TV and movies then it isn't that great. But then again, thinkpads are not for play, they are for work.
