I have been debating pulling the trigger on some kind of vacuuming robot, is this deal solid and I might as well go for it?

Anyone have experience with this one?

I know there have been a few other threads similar to this but this is a bit higher end and has a deal that is today only.

Thanks

I have that one. Works well. However, I've only owned roombas and not neato, which is often cited as a superior option.

I can't speak to Roomba because I own a Neato XV-21, but I can speak to robot vacuums. The thing is incredible. We have a very large bedroom that is carpeted and my dog lays on it all day and night. I now come home every day to pristine floor in there.

It goes places regular vacuums don't as well, like under dressers, chairs, beds, tables, etc.

Its the best money I've spent in years.

yeah the neato is badass. some bad things I have heard about the roomba is the arms break off and also that it just randomnly jumps around. the neato scans the room and builds a pattern to follow.

Can these robot vacuum cleaners clean every room in a house automatically? My house isn't big but what needs to be done initially so it knows where to go to clean each room?

I see there is a newer version of the Neato 21, but it's basically the same price.

Anyone have any advice on which one to get under $350? I want to pull the trigger so bad.

I think most can do that but it takes a couple charges, so it will clean like 1k sqft in the morning, charge for a coupe hours and finish the rest off. They can map the houses themselves with virtual walls I believe.

I tried buying the newer version of the Neato but Amazon gives me an error everytime I try to checkout.

Yes. Look up Neato Botvac 65 at Costco. It's the newest version. Love mine.

They work well on everything. I have tile, carpet, and wood. Just get the neato and hank me later.

plug it in.

The Neato will venture into a room, map out a pattern and start suckin. It comes with a roll of magnetic tape you can place where you do not want it to go. But it the door is open, it will go in and clean.

yes

The neato vx-21 (the pet model) comes with a pet brush witch is the wood/tile brush. It works extremely well on all surfaces. you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely. You will be surprised what it picks up everyday or every other day. I swear we aren't that dirty. I believe they have figured out how to create dirt in the bin to show how much it is needed.

My mom gave us a roomba for Christmas and it's been amazing. Having a 6 month old makes it that much harder to clean and it gets the job done.
