Any of you techies using and iPhone skin rather than a case? id rather not keep a case on my iPhone but the damn thing is slippery.

Looks like the two main sellers for skins are dbrand and slickwraps. Anyone have any experience with these?

Using a dbrand on my Nexus 6 and have been for about a year and a half. I like it. Trying to get away from cases myself and just protect the phone from scratches, so I'm using a skin (rear only) and a tempered glass screen protector. Same for my wife's Galaxy S7. But her skin is from skinit because they let you design your own. The skinit is so-so. Just vinyl, no texture, and the cutouts are just a hair out of alignment, at least for the S7. The dbrand is spot-on though.

I've used dbrand and it was a nice quality skin. I had the one that covered the back, sides, top, and bottom of an iphone 6 plus. I'll likely get another one in the near future.

I've used dbrand and slickwraps. Both are legit. Just be aware that different patterns have different levels of texture.

Do these skins give any sort of impact protection?

Was the install pretty easy? The install videos make it look easy.......the corners are what concern me.

The back is fairly easy. If you get sides, they're kind of a pain in the arse.

The sides don't stay on very well in my experience, though it probably depends greatly on the phone itself and how the edges are designed/shaped. In and out of pockets over and over, eventually a piece of the film starts to lift and it just gets worse.

I actually took them off my N6 before they had a chance. Didn't really like the look or feel. Backs are really nice though with a clear backed case or none at all.
