You have to luck into finding one right now anywhere. Apple is claiming that availability will by much better after 10/1.

the 7 or the 7+? I'm going to take advantage of this offer that Verizon is running right now. They will give me $650 for my 6+. I like my phone but when I trade it in for a newer model later on, I would rather be trading in a 7+ than the 6+. I wonder why the carriers are running this deal, surely it's working in their favor but its a big rebate for a 2 year old phone.

iPhone 7 sales are down 25 %. Even with all the promotions Apple is still is still trying to manufacture hype by limiting supplies.
It's a solid phone and much better than the the 6s, but still behind others in some areas. The display is still cheap looking on the iPhone 7 and nothing special on the 7+. The camera is still not as good as the Galaxy cameras of early 2016 and the design is meh.
A lot of people are just waiting on next years model or waiting for the holiday sales. Most are expecting them to be significant because the phone is struggling to sale like past iPhones.

CNET did a review of them side by side and they both excel is some areas and lack in others. Apple still can't catch up when it comes to taking pictures in low light but the iphone processes colors much better in normal situations without looking like it went through a filter. Just a much more vivid, life-like picture. The bottom line is the camera is no reason to buy a phone since 99% of the world uses them to send pics of stupid shite to their friends.

The camera isn't as good. No matter what CNET says. Every other reputable source says it's not. It's color reproduction looks soft and muted to me. It doesn't have near as fast auto-focus, and it doesn't have near as good dynamic range. In low light conditions it's still way behind.
I was mostly disappointed in the display. The fact Apple is still peddling that retina display as premium on the iPhone 7 is criminal. The 7+ is better, but still underwhelming when in comparison to others on the market.

They showed pics side by side so you can see for yourself. It wasn't anyone's opinion. They took a ton of shots in normal mode, auto-focus, etc. Just like most of us use the camera on our PHONE.
I'll say it again. If the type of camera on your PHONE sways you from one brand or another then you're just being ridiculous. None of us are using this shite to win a Pulitzer.

This is the best and most fair comparison I've seen.
The camera on the iPhone 7+ is good, but still not as good as the Samsung camera that came out 6 months prior. Apple was hyping the new camera as the main reason to upgrade I just expected it to be better.

How good is the Note at taking pictures of fire? I wanted to try it before going to iPhone 7, but, well you know..
