Anyone taking the plunge yet? I have a 6s+ 128gb and outside of the 7+ camera I am not seeing what the big deal is. Maybe wait for the 7s+ to come out?

I went from the 6 to the 7, and while there isn't one single radical change, for me it was well worth it, especially since it was "free".

There is a noticeable difference in snappiness, which to me is the biggest plus.

I also doubled my storage (16 to 32) and traded in an out of warranty phone for a 1 yr warranty.

Yessir

6 Plus 16 GB to 7 Plus 128 GB

Matte black wasn't available until November since I waited so long so went with regular black.

I have to have a phone cover so guess it doesn't matter much anyways other than resale.

Mine was also cheap with the Verizon option to trade in my 6 plus and get the 650$ credit.

My previous contract isn't up until July of next year though so had to add an extra line. 15$ extra charge for 9 months, not bad and going to let a family member utilize that for the time being.

I like the louder volume for the phone, seemed like it was always relatively low in the gym etc.

is the trade in program worth a shite or are you better off just keeping one as a back up?

Absolutely trade it in, especially if you have a 16gb device or a 4.7 in screen

Yes!!! Every iPhone I've ever owned was way too low in earpiece volume. My new 7 almost blew out my drums

Glad to hear that, was reading more about it and thought the increased volume might solely be the internal speakers.

So like I said, they gave me a 650$ credit for my 6 plus, under the special program.

Normally they would have only given 240$ so that would likely not have been worth it. Could often sell it for more on craigslist.

At 650 though absolutely worth it.

Depends on what you do with the phone.

Most improvements will be invisible to the majority of users, but Apple will convince everyone they need it anyway.

The carriers are giving a $650 credit, which makes the 7 free or the 7+ $120.

I am pretty happy with the 6s+ speed and speakers. The camera is was intrigues me, especially 2x optical zoom.

You got the matt black, did you or anyone else getting it see the scratches the say are easy to get on this one?

gotcha but if you don't keep the phone for 2 years you lose the credits....so if you want the 8 next year you'd be fricked

Don't forget about the mid season 7+ and 7s+ that will come out. That is my biggest hangup on pulling the trigger now or waiting.

Next year is the 10 year anniversary of the iPhone. Supposed to be a big release. I have a 6+ and am going three years without an upgrade for the first time since the OG iPhone > iPhone 4
