Echo Show brings you everything you love about Alexa, and now she can show you things. Watch video flash briefings and YouTube, see music lyrics, security cameras, photos, weather forecasts, to-do and shopping lists, and more. All hands-free—just ask.

Introducing a new way to be together. Talk to family and friends who have an Echo or the Alexa App.

See lyrics on-screen with Amazon Music. Just ask to play a song, artist or genre, and stream over Wi-Fi. Also, stream music on Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and more.

Powerful, room-filling speakers with Dolby processing for crisp vocals and extended bass response.

Ask Alexa to show you the front door or monitor the baby's room with compatible cameras from Ring and Arlo. Turn on lights, control thermostats and more with WeMo, Philips Hue, ecobee, and other compatible smart home devices.

With eight microphones, beam-forming technology, and noise cancellation, Echo Show hears you from any direction—even while music is playing

Man that would be nice for our family and our extended family that live out of town.

I'm still not putting anything in my room that faces me 24/7 with a camera.

Like it though. Could be cool in the kitchen or something.

I work my arse off at the gym. If someone wants to peek in on me, I don't mind. Just send me some $$ in the mail anonymously too.

Still waiting on connecting all the devices together.

I like the call and message feature. Wish they could have it compatible with iMessage and iPhone. BUT -- this is going to be the way they start introducing Alexa Phones and BOOM, everything will be Amazon.

Soon you'll be going to amazon stores with your amazon phone in your amazon car wearing your amazon watch with your amazon glasses.

or we built an echo with a screen.

I want something like the wink relay but the size of a 7-10" table in my walls. that are all synced together like the relays are, able to connect to HA and internet and doorbell came and security cam. this is just a step in the right direction.

Really though, when Apple announced the iPad, a lot of people (myself included) were thinking they built a large phone that doesn't fit in your pocket, or they built a laptop without a keyboard. And we all know how that turned out.

This stationary tablet idea might flop right now, but I think eventually our homes are going to have screens all over the place. The portability of a regular tablet is nice, but who wants to carry one all around the house?

I really like this idea, and I was big into BeOS in the 90s and early 2000s. Probably not many people have heard of BeOS, but I have a feeling that you have. I was kind of excited when they announced BeIA (Internet Appliance), but of course it flopped. Now it looks like it was just a couple decades ahead of its time.

I already have a Wink hub and arlo cameras, so I'm very much thinking of getting this as the Echo already has Wink integration.

yea but the UI isnt going to sync like the relay. Im saying i want say 6 inwall tables around the house all of which are synced together. i add a switch it adds to all of the tables. i add a control setting it updates all tables.

We are definitely headed in that direction. We can already talk to our devices, and soon we will have screens covering the walls to complete the Star Trek experience.

that drop in features looks like a good way to have someone accidentally see you and the wife walking around naked. No thanks.

I'd have to disable that feature.

I am shocked that they didn't have a demo showing recipes. One of the recipe sites needs to build a Show skill if they haven't already.

the design of this thing looks like something from Total Recall.
