re: Is it hard to raise a puppy? - pongze on 1/25/17 at 11:41 pm
Thank you everybody for your advice and all of the well-wishers for the IVF. In a couple of weeks, both of our schedules lighten considerably, and we'll also have had our first pregnancy test to see if the embryo stuck. I might check with the owner and see if the pup is still available at that time....

Is it hard to raise a puppy? - pongze on 1/24/17 at 11:31 pm
I have the opportunity to get a really cute 8 - 9 week Maltipoo. However, my wife and I just went through IVF with implantation today. She is on bedrest for the next few days then goes back to work and I am working the for the next 7 days straight. We're not sure that we can give a puppy the time it...

This is one of the best animated series ever. So much detail in some of the backgrounds. I watched it all over a several month period last year. I so wish they'd continued it, because it was just spectacular. Regarding the comment about Ashoka being around 70 during the new trilogy, any idea how ...

Check out [link=(http://www.monoprice.com/search/index?keyword=wireless+hdmi)]these products[/link] from Monoprice.com. I can't vouch for these because my solution is several years old, but also purchased from them and work great. These ones are newer technology. I've bought from Monoprice for ye...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
are there any smart thermostats that will look at temps in the rooms in the house and kick on the fan to regulate temp, or look at humidity and kick on the AC to bring the humidity down?
I think the ecobee has remote sensors that you can put in rooms away from the main thermostat, ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
re: Sending UHD (4K) content to non UHD display - pongze on 11/29/16 at 11:08 am
Thanks for the reply. I guess I answered my own question. I found a link that said that with the exception of Sharp Quattron Plus sets, which are no longer available, that 1080p sets cannot downscale 4k signals....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
Sending UHD (4K) content to non UHD display - pongze on 11/29/16 at 6:16 am
Guys, is there any problem sending UHD content to a non UHD display? I currently split a signal between a UHD display, a wireless HDMI transmitter to a 1080p display, and a HDMI to component converter for a slingbox. My current splitter can't handle UHD signals and I was going to pick up a splitter ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

Not sure if this has been covered already, but, if anyone is interested, I connected the original Wink hub as a secondary controller to my 2GIG alarm panel. I had read that the Wink hub wouldn't connect as a secondary controller, but it works for me. This has allowed me to use Alexa to control all m...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)
The other explanations are wrong the switch happens when he slides it to her left hand it allows him to pop the bands over each other where her finger is hooked. Question about Ubiquiti Unifi access point - pongze on 10/30/16 at 10:38 pm
Hi all, after reading a few articles and seeing it recommended here, I've purchased the Ubiquiti Unifi UAC-AP-LR and set it up tonight. Am I correct in thinking that I need to leave it hardwired to my router? So far, it seems that the range on this thing is incredible. Thanks...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2)
It's a soggy, bland thing
Not a pizza snob here, but neapolitan mainly refers to the dough being just flour, water, salt, yeast, nothing else. Not sure if there's criteria for the sauce at all. But, basically, the Neapolitan place you have near you sounds like it just sucks. There'...

re: Home Security Solution - Blink 2 Camera System + Echo Dot - pongze on 10/19/16 at 10:15 am
I just did a quick read on the blink system. It seems the main issue is that it's rated for indoor only. For your backyard, I'm assuming you would mount it outdoors? One new cep thing is that it has audio, albeit only one way. I have an arlo system. No audio, but rated for outdoor installation. I...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Uh... is that stuff what the NP told you? Gracious, you know, some PAs and NPs are pretty good, some are... opposite of that. Without looking reference ranges up, I can tell you that a 117 LDL is pretty good. And a low creatinine? Seriously? That's an excellent creatinine and in general, the ...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)

Funny enough, I was at dinner the other night and my wife's cousin's husband, who is a huge USCw homer, asked me if I thought that Les Miles would consider going to USCw. He was totally serious. Goes to show how Les is thought of from people who don't pay close attention. FTR, I love Les, but, like ...
The motion detection sucks ass.
My arlo system has been pretty decent with the motion detection, although I had to tweak the sensitivity a but. I got a system by EZVIZ a few months ago from Sam's. The tech for security cameras has significantly improved, with hi-def now instead of being rated in TVL (TV lines). Great image quality day and night. One thing for you, there are baluns available that can allow you to run regular security came...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
