Improving Wi-fi in crowed area (Thanks Sterling -__-)

With the grand opening of Sterling At Burbank 
........ My Wi-fi is complete butts now. It was awesome before. I have Cox preferred service. I use to Twitch of the weekends but now thats completely over with. Ive been reading that I can change Wi-fi channels. Anyone want to walk me through how to exactly do that???
