I have an older Imac. Each time I log on I have to find my wi-fi network. Is there any way to make it automatically go to my chosen network? I have Charter internet if that makes any difference.

Just upgraded to Sierra. That is when it started.

My 2011 iMac is having the same problems. My 2011 Mac Mini is not. I you haven't been able to find any resolution on the Apple forums, then unfortunately, the only thing you can really do is wait for the 10.12.1 update.

That's why you should always be careful upgrading an older computer to a new OS. I'm keeping my 2010 on El Capitan for now.

Did you by chance make a backup of the computer before you upgraded? It might be worth it to just restore to the older OS and wait for the next update.

Thanks, I will check the mac forums. Maybe they have a work around.
