I will be offshore for the Ole Miss and possibly Alabama game. I will be located in Eloi Bay. This is about 40 miles east-southeast from New Orleans. It is probably 10-15 miles west of the Chandeleur Islands. It is right on the fringe of the marsh and bay there. I have AT&T 4G, LTE. I'm not sure if I will get enough data from my company where I can watch the game there. What are the possibilities that I have to watch the game? This will be my first time to go out there so I'm not sure if I could get cable from a TV.

Some of the platforms have internet, usually through a satellite. At least from what a buddy told me a few years ago when he was working as a medic. It was pretty slow, and probably not enough to stream a game. You may be close enough for your data to work, but doubtful. The few times I've been offshore fishing with a smartphone, it would go dead about 5 miles offshore. When riding back in at the end of the day, all sorts of texts and voicemails were popping up. I asked the captain how far out we were, and he said about 5-6 miles.

No need to watch the Bama game. L5U is going to be L6U.

But streaming on your phone for 3 hours actually uses less data than you'd think. I don't know how much you have but I did this last year for a few games and it only used 1-2 gigs over 3 hours or so.

You already have your answer, it's just a matter of how important it is to you. It will be on something easy to find like WatchESPN or possibly CBS Sports. Some needed info to help you with data decision is:

How much data do you currently have and how much do you currently use? Are you on a family plan or a single line? Are you going to be working there often or long term? Do you have DirectTV? Do you have access to WatchESPN? What kind of phone do you have? Do you mind watching on your phone or are you trying to watch on something else using the phone's data? If watching on something else, then what would that be?

The simple answer without knowing any other details is to switch to At&t unlimited if you have DirectTV and a family plan or Cricket unlimited which uses At&t towers if you have a single line and just watch on your phone.

ETA: I read the OP as you already know you have At&t LTE there and was concerned about actual data usage. If not, without LTE or at least very fast 3G from someone, you will be stuck with whatever the rig offers or some stupidly priced personal satellite option which wouldn't even be worth mentioning.
