Local radio Shack is selling a harmony 650 for 43 with tax. Should I get it or is there something g better around the same price?

eta: bought it and radio shack branded IR blasters. Total was 60 with tax. One of my favorite purchases ever! This remote is amazing!Set up was amazingly easy and the IR extender works perfectly. No more 4 remotes!

Been having mine for a pretty long time. At least 4 years I think. I would buy another when it breaks.

That's probably about as cheap as you'll ever see new. I went with a used 700 model myself because I hate stocking batteries. Found it used for $45-55- this was about 4mo ago.

What kind of setup are you trying to control? Any reason you do/don't want the screen on the remote?

Bought one right after Christmas. Excellent purchase. Pull the trigger.

Xbox one, denon, directv, TV. Will have to run IR extenders as they are behind copper doors

Yeah, I would like a 650 or similarly-screened remote for that.

If you're up for suggestions on extenders, this [link=(www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Dual-Band-Repeater-109895/dp/B00AJHE7QC)]monoprice one[/link] has been good in my experience. Sneaky in that it can accept more IR blasters than it ships with, but based on your setup/depending on where things are spatially, the included ones may be enough.
