I feel screwed having a Note 4. Lack of support and they launched the Note 5 not even a year later. Also no root.

Both correct. I got the 64gb so space should be fine. Battery actually performs better than the 4 even though a little smaller

What device are you coming from? I have a bit of lag on the Note 4, first phone I didn't root, but only because I've been waiting on the Note 5.

Sort of a long story. Had a note 3, destroyed it. Insurance replaced with G3, loved that one until last update in may I think. Got a 6edge, didn't ever really like it, with the full intent of getting note 5 when it came out. So I did.

You would have never succeeded. It can't be rooted (permanently) .

Tmobile note 4 can be rooted permenatly I have one and it is or was. I just returned to stock last night and am getting the S6 edge plus after looking at both today. Loved the note series been having one since the Note 2 came out. They both have about 23.5 gigs available on the 32 gig version that I looked at today. Both are beautiful phones I just want to try something different this time and the edge allowed me that and not give up my screen real estate. Both are very fast out the box

I have the S4 right now and have been waiting on the Note5 to release before I decide on the 6edge/Note5.

Havent gotten a chance to get to ATT yet, is there a big difference in your opinion on how it feels in your hand? Or when you are typing?

I would caution if you want to root it on ATT. Note 4 on ATT (corrected) could not be rooted.

Nah I wont be rooting it, didnt even root the S4 I have. My company purchases our phone and I rather just leave well enough alone.

The S4 just feel small in my hands. I know I will eventually have to get to the store and see for myself.

Both phones feel good in hand the note probably a little better but the S6 edge plus is lighter and thinner so just depends on what you like. I can say the the edge glass style makes it look more hd when viewing and you really cannot tell any difference as far as pixel density bot displays look awesome. You lose s-pen which will sway some to not succome to the beauty of the S6 Edge but for me im gonna try to live with out it even though i like it. Camera is phenomenal as usual

I hated the edge I had after a while. It just got old trying to hold the phone and my finger pressing some side link, especially on td.

Was does "rooting" a phone mean?

I'm looking at switching to T-Mobile and selling my iPhone 6+
