Email tech armor customer service with a picture of the screen not adhering and they'll ship you a new one free of charge.

Why would I do that when I can just return it to Amazon and keep the identical $4.99 version?

So, in conclusion, while my Tech Armor was slightly fricked up because Amazon obviously doesn't inspect customer returns, the two screen protectors are identical. Only difference is the marketing and distribution and packing built into the price.

Now I am just awaiting the 1, 3, 6, and 12 month reviews.

You could do that as well. Big difference is tech armor has lifetime replacement warranty vs 1 year for the $4.99 version. They replaced mine once for not adhering and once for cracking when I dropped my phone, no questions asked.

I won't have this phone in 12 months, or even 6. Stop being such a skeptic and spend the $5

I can already tell you that it's going to stay adhered just as well as the plastic ones. The only thing that's still pending, based on my experience, is how scratch resistant it will be. I'll have a clear idea of that in a month, tops. I always carry my phone in the same pocket as my keys, and I have a toddler at home.

And I guess the Tech Armor warranty is part of the inflated price, but considering that I keep my phones for a max of 2 years, I could buy two of the identical $5 protectors and still be ahead.

I would seriously consider it had I not just spent $15 on an Otterbox Defender.

My next purchase will be a new screen (not screen protector) for my Nexus 7. Picked it up today, and it had a crack in the glass. Don't remember dropping it either. I'm blaming it on the heat in my car, for now. Shouldn't have left it in there yesterday.

Just put mine on this morning. So far it's great. Feels just like my screen did pre-cover. Fits perfectly within the bevels of my case.

Yeah, it really is nice. I'm glad you started this thread, because I'm a convert now. No more plastic screen protectors for me (assuming this one doesn't randomly fall off in my pocket, but it seems even more secure than a plastic one because it can't peel back)
