Does Apple maps only show promoted Gas Stations?

I asked Apple maps to find me the nearest gas station and it sends me two miles down the road to a Conoco and to the left side of a highway.
1mile after driving there is an Exxon on my right which didn't show in the list of gas stations.
Wth is this shite?
Third party apps need to be integrated if Apple apps can't perform certain functions correctly.

Just download Google Maps. Apple Maps is known for being laughably inaccurate.
Also, Google Maps incorporates traffic and accident data via Waze.
