DirecTV Now Guide Issues

I'm using the DirecTV Now app on the FireTV. Almost every time I try and use the guide, it is basically frozen. It won't let me move the guide down to other channels. I've restarted the app and even uninstalled and reinstalled, but keep having the same problem. Anyone else have this issue?

The only guide issue I've had is that it won't stay in the right time slot. Either jumps forward or to the favorites column when I scroll.

I know what you're doing and I have the same issue.
If you tap up and get the interactive menu and the first row is "What's on Now" and then you scroll all the way to the right and then click "Guide" it gets to this "Frozen" state.
It's weird because on the AppleTV menu, you can scroll right through all of the channels. However on the Amazon Fire TV it scrolls to the right through 2/3rds of them but then wants you to use the Guide. If you do that, it gets frozen.
Right?

I'm using Apple Tv, the guide seems pretty basic, I know they will probably update it but I can't find any information about the shows that are on. Like if I scroll to ESPN and it says NCAA Basketball there is no where that shows which teams are playing. Is there something that I'm missing? I haven't played around with it a lot but I think I've tried all the buttons and nothing comes up.

I think you're describing the "old school" layout which you get when you swipe up. If you swipe down on the AppleTV you get the "new style" menu. That will show you icons for games of whos playing and whats on, etc.

This is my main gripe as well.
So far all I've been able to find out is that you have to actually go to the show. Then click the select button or whatever on your remote (that brings up the graphic that shows how far along the program is) there should then be an "i" button on the bottom of the screen.

You can move the cursor over the channel, not the show, and click it. It will pull up the list of shows by time on that channel with show info available.

Has anyone heard if there are plans to be able to stream to chormecast in the future for ios? I have appletv in the living room and chromecast in the bedroom.

I'll have to try this when I get home, not sure what this means exactly but I'll give it a try.

Never noticed you could press up and get the guide as well. I've only had it for a few days now. Seeing if I should stick with Vue or switch to DTV.

I must be missing something because I tried this last night and I only have one style guide. Up or down its all the same.

What device are you using? I've used DTVNow on AppleTV and Amazon Fire TV and the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons/directions bring up 2 different style guide's for me.

I get the same guide no matter if I use the up or down direction to enter the guide screen. Both ATV4 and Fire Stick

I've started putting the cursor on the channel, rather than the show. That alleviates the problem you're having with it jumping all over the place with regards to time.
