I've got a 2009 Camry with stock stereo system in it. Does Toyota or even another company sell an adapter or piece of equipment that would allow me to connect and play music/streamed radio through a Bluetooth connection?

I use this MPOW adapter and get decent results.

They make kits that plug into the back of the factory receiver but I couldn't find one for an 09 camry under $100.

I started using the same one as hopeful doc when Apple got rid of the headphone jack.

What's decent mean? How is the audio clarity and volume? I'm not looking for Bose sound quality obviously but don't want constant static/sketchy connection.

Also, this is the only aux input I have. Do you think the device would fit in that spot?

I have to press the button on the device to connect each and every time. It's no big deal, but it does not auto connect to a OnePlus 3 running the most recent version of Oxygen (sans the update I got today).
It will definitely fit in that space. It comes with a short aux cord if the male-male adapter doesn't fit/is awkward/you want to leave the device out so you can click the button.
You will need to provide usb power. It does not come with a cigarette adapter (microUSB-->USB included). It has a battery and, once charged, stays powered >1 week for me (I have a spare plug and leave it in but used to swap on an "as needed" basis. Minimal power use. I admittedly never tested the duration of the battery with constant streaming )
I have no issue with quality or dropping the connection. I have it set to disconnect on calls and resume on hanging up. Volume is about 1-2 clicks quieter than if I plugged in my phone directly. Barely noticeably quieter. Still does not introduce clipping/distortion when cranked that wouldn't have been there already from my stock stereo.

I think I addressed all your questions and hopefully most the ones you could have. Let me know what else I can answer if not.

Soundbot

I use this in my wife's 2011 Pilot. Works great. There may be more functionality by now.
