This is frustrating and odd as hell ... I have absolutely NO PROBLEMS w/ 'net connection whatsoever ANYWHERE else on the Web, but as SOON as I get on tRant, I get a blank screen "no Internet connection"...ONLY this website, NONE OTHERS.

I keep Network Connections open, re-connect, and it just bombs off OVER and OVER.... no other websites give me any trouble at all; I can have other tabs open and surf for days, then as soon as I switch back to the TD tab, I'm disconnected -

There is SOMETHING in the TD communication w/ my PC that is TELLING my PC to disconnect from wireless network - OVER AND OVER - when I have to click 'Connections' repeatedly to re-hook, when the window opens the confirmation box asking me "are you sure you want to dis-connect from this network?" is ALREADY open AND I'm already disconnected...

Also, I can get the "no connection" error message and Network Connections will tell me I'm already connected, right there on the same screen that says I'm not... so the tool-bar icon will have the red 'X' saying 'no internet' but I'm still connected (and can click on any other tab/website and it's working fine, but TD gives me a blank screen 'No Internet' error message...

I swear I'm starting to think it's deliberate sabotage - I will promise to NEVER say anything bad about Jindal or good about Obama again, if y'all will just let me get on the football boards!

Same here. On my phone and it says there was a problem loading the page and that its reloading. Happens a ton lately.

AHA! Finally, some evidence that there's SOMETHING in the code/language being exchanged that "drops the ball" loading the next page...

That doesn't fix anything, but at least I know it's not just/all my problem...

Safari wouldn't work for me at all after 9.0. It wasn't just TD so I had to switch to chrome

Since today's update, Safari is usable again

can you use chrome on your mobile device and let me know if the problem persists?

Also, I would try going into your safari settings and deleting your web history...I would also close all your safari tabs, and close down the safari app...then try a reboot (holding down the lock button and home button until it starts the reboot process.

OH BOY! If anybody can solve this it's CHICKEN!...

No, I'm on an old desk-top, AT&T DSL (wireless to "house" connection), Windows XP, Chrome browser...
I note that the connection is always lost when "clicking" ANYTHING - next page, new topic, etc... it's SOMETHING specific in the communication btwn TD and browser when switching to anything new on the screen.

ETA: I get a variety of error messages, always one of four -
ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE

ERR_NETWORK CHANGED

ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED

DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET

and as I said before, SOMETIMES I even get a discrepancy between what the blank-screen "no internet" says, the tool-bar icon will show the "red X, not connected", network connections will say "you're connected" while displaying "not connected"....???? (I can usually click on another tab and determine that I am in fact connected even though Tiger Droppings insists I am not)

Have you tried deleting the temp internet files?

Does this happen on any other browser on that computer or device/computer you may own?

In some instances windows will cache dns status.. In those cases, this will help..

I'll try running "cleansweep" and dumping temp files, cache, etc...

Also I'll try IE Explorer later tonite after game ...

And to the person that suggested something about "dns cache"; that sounds intriguing - the frequent error msg "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET" certainly seems to have something to do with this...

Thanks for the help/suggestions; I'll know late late tonite whether any of them lick the problem...
