Best way to speed up laptop?

shite runs slow and hot as frick. I run anti-virus on the reg (Malwarebytes and Security Essentials), and defrag on the reg...shite still unbelievably slow.

blow it out - you need to put a paper clip into the fan to stop it from spinning (it can overspeed and fail) then hit with compressed air.

if it is a few years old the best bet is to reformat and start over
I presume you have ran malware and virus scans, a utility like ccleaner or glary etc
