Best place to buy an Iphone?

Time to get a phone for my oldest kid... needs it for school (which is another soap box issue that I won't start here.)
I bought a new Galaxy6 on EBAY deals earlier this year to replace my phone. Got a great deal, but not finding any affordable Iphones (kids are all using Apple products, looking for a 6.)
Verizon is my carrier... damned if I'm paying $650 at the store for a phone for a kid.
Anybody got any suggestions where I should start looking?

The timing may not work for your needs but they should be announcing the new models in September which would push prices of all the old models down.

Last two have been from Target. Received $200 gift card per phone.

Swappa, they have a process that ensures the phone is not screwed up and you get what was advertised.

7s is coming out in late Sept and will come in the traditional two sizes- regular and plus
The iPhone 8 will be out later in Oct/Nov but before holidays and be a 5.18 inch OLED screen and be closer to the rumored 1k price tag

I recently paid $50 for a mint condition IPhone 5 running IOS 10.xxx for my 78 year old mom. Does everything she needs. Why not do the same for a 12 year old that will probably lose or break it.

My sister just got her kid an iPhone through Cricket and she was very pleased with pricing, customer service and cell service. She said it was the best deal she found.

swappa is the safest method..Craigslist may get you a cheaper phone, but much higher risk.

FYI the latest rumors on the 8 back off the Oct/Nov delay, but do continue to suspect there could be shortages (so you may have to wait to get one even if released in Sept)
