Just upgraded phone and it sucks trying to remember all the different passwords.

I use 1password and it's awesome. I've never used another one but there are many great options.

I think they're all free, and most have an optional premium($) service attached that allows you to sync passwords across devices and things like that.

Personally, I use KeePass and just "sync" my password file using google drive.

Any tips for creating and remembering strong passwords without using an app?

I currently use the same generic password for sites like TD, ESPN, and sites with no real risk associated with them.

For email, company, financials, etc I use a base password that includes a variation specific to each site so that it is easy to remember.

How often do you guys change passwords, annually, quarterly, monthly, never?

Use passphrases instead of passwords

Just no. I have 308 logins saved in my password manager, with most of my passwords 32 characters long that are random strings of alphanumeric and symbols. Using the same or similar passwords for every online account is asking for your shite to be hijacked.
