My home internet has been fricked up since last night, so I scrambled to find a decent hotspot app to get my stuff done. I tried a bunch of different stuff, but they either didn't work at all, or annoyed me. I have Foxfi on here right now, but the screen lock pisses me off, and I have a "data cap" when using it. Still don't understand how it works, but whatever. On top of that, I think it did something that screwed up Chrome mobile that is making it run slowly and freeze sometimes.

Do yall have any other suggestions?

Does it have a built in hotspot switch? If you have an unlimited data plan you will have to do something to trick your phone into thinking it has rights to turn the hotspot on. If you don't have an unlimited plan, then you should be able to turn it on without any mod.

Yes, but I don't pay for hotspot. It checks itself before I can turn it on. The hotspot apps must trick it somehow to allow it to work

Only one ROM for my phone. Haven't flashed yet because I've been too busy to screw with a potential bricked phone
