Is either one that much better than the other? I am looking to possibly leave AT&T. Thanks.

It all depends on where you live and where you frequently travel.

Why are you looking to leave AT&T? I have never had any issues with AT&T, but I have nothing to compare it to, admittedly.

I actually changed my AT&T plan last night. They make it very easy to see what/how your data is used, and compare other plans. I was paying for a 15GB/mo plan and was only averaging about 3GB per month. I bumped down to 6GB/mo and will save about $25 each month.

Because they pissed me off. They quoted me a price yesterday and would not honor it today. I pay $132 for 2 lines and 6GB of shared data. I could get 8GB for $110 or unlimited data for $150 at verizon.

Sorry- Just saw your other thread question. As cliche as it is, all the commercials say that the networks themselves are essentially the same. So if you can save more money with Verizon I'd say go for it.

And to answer your other question- whenever I have had to discuss stuff with AT&T I have used the chat function. It allows you to be e-mailed a transcript once the chat is over.

The conversation was while discussing switching from direct tv to u-verse and that transition team doesn't have chat only phone. I always use chat and get transcripts when it is available.

If you like getting service, Verizon is the way to go.

Are you talking about customer service or actual cell service?

I just switched today because of terrible cell coverage in Ellic on AT&T. I can actually talk on my cell phone now without a Microcell that drops calls after 2 minutes.

it literally depends on the area. i have an AT&T cell phone and a Verizon mifi card. There are times where i cant get a signal with AT&T and Verizon works and vice versa

its really a wash

I've had both. No real difference, but ATT allows me to stream Directv without using any of my data. ATT would have to really screw up to get me to swap back to Verizon.

I just got a deal with Verizon for pre-paid unlimited talk and text plus 2 gigs data (with data Roll over) for $43.60 tax incl.
