On December 3 I ordered a Zenfone 2 Laser. They had them on sale for $199, paid for 2 day shipping, payment came out of my checking account

I got an email saying would be shipped out Dec 4

As of Tuesday, not shipped, nothing changed, I called customer service, they said they would look into it and call me back, never got called back, nothing changed

Wednesday (yesterday), still not shipped, same thing

Today, same thing. Exact same conversations, no supervisor is available to talk to, no information can be provided, they are forwarding my complaint to the relevancy department

Just now received phone call, they said that the package is in transit and when they get it back I will receive the refund in 1-2 weeks

I tell them that if it is finally shipping I will take it, they then get really confused

I have never dealt with a business like this

sorry for so long, is there anything else I can do?

I've had bad experiences with their customer service so I don't even bother with trying to contact them anymore. I always buy their products from amazon or newegg so I contact them instead of Asus now.

I've heard nothing but bad things about their warranty service as well. Fortunately I've never needed it for their mobos and video cards I buy anyway.

Asus customer support is really the worst. Ive literally had better success with cable companies and ISPs than Asus.

Cheap little Asus 3 in 1 router won't port forward. Here's how my call(s) to support went:
Call 1 Monday: non english speaking motherfricker puts me on hold without giving me a case #. automated hold disconnects me after 10 minutes.
Call 2 Tuesday: non english speaking motherfricker assigns a case number (after I insist its the very first thing we do) but can't help. takes my number and tells me level 2 will call tomorrow. call never comes.
Call 3 Today: non english speaking motherfricker takes my case number, informs me that the previous non english speaking motherfricker took exactly zero notes - and doesnt even know what device i am calling about. after going through EVERYTHING for a 3rd time, im given an RMA number with no attempt to get me to lvl 2 troubleshooting.

asus support is absolutely useless.

yeah, based on the last week I don't think I will ever get the phone or a refund

I'm pretty sure they stole $200.00 from me

Yeah, they are not exactly known for their customer service. They started out as an OEM and have only tried to become a real electronics brand in recent years. But they're still a very Chinese company.

Protip: Always deal with them via e-mail. Communication is slower but clearer, and you get everything in writing. I've dealt with them on a number of issues, including RMAs. In my experience, their customer service is good with RMAs and literally nothing else.

Remember this and never buy another ASUS product, worked wonderfully for me as I never had to deal with them again.
