I love mine. Preordered it back in the fall. There were some kinks with WatchESPN early on, but seem to have been worked out by now. I've got NetFlix, Prime, Hulu, and the WatchESPN, WatchDisney, and WatchDisneyJr apps on there.
I also have the FireTV remote app on my iPhone, and it is nice to be able to search and type on the phone instead of on the screen with the drag and click remote. Yes, it comes with a remote. But it is very basic. Just a circular select button, with a ring around it that lets you press up/down or side to side. And some pause/play and other buttons. You have to be connected to WiFi on the phone with the app, and it has to recognize it and pair it. I think there was a code to pair it, similar to bluetooth pairing. But it doesn't work through BlueTooth, but through the WiFi.
I bought a new Kindle Fire 6 to replace my first gen Kindle Fire, and after I signed into my Amazon account to set it up, I noticed it was linked to my Fire Stick. I was playing around with the camera, and noticed there was a place to press to share it, and one option was to the Fire TV. Played around a little more, and I could do the same with Prime videos, and probably NetFlix and others as well. Which means you could just browse on the tablet and then throw it to the screen.
I haven't loaded Kodi yet, but will eventually. I really don't watch that much TV right now, and the main reason I bought it was so the kids would have some cartoons to watch and for me to watch live sports. I already have a Roku box, but it was getting to be a pain to move from the bedroom to the living room every saturday for football.

It is incredible. Very very fast with more RAM than it's competitors. When loaded with XBMC + Genesis, you get access to pretty much every movie/tv show that you want to watch, even stuff still in theaters.

If you load the TVMC build of Kodi instead of the normal Kodi, a lot of the channels are pre-installed. It will save you a lot of time.
