I'm about to switch this weekend... wondering if anyone else has had any experience with it. I've seen some good reviews, some bad reviews.

Also, I live in central Alabama (Birmingham), wondering how the service is here as well if anyone has switched around this area.

I'm in Bham and have been on it for a few months now. It works great in the city, but can be spotty as you get out of town. The LTE signal around town isn't as reliable as AT&T's, but the 3G has been fine for me.

How long after you requested an invite did you get accepted?

Just submitted my request yesterday, so i'm curious.

Took me maybe a week? But my invite just so happened to come in the evening before the launch of the new phones.

My project fi experience has been smooth so far but testing is limited. Wifi calling worked flawlessley and switched to cellular without any hiccups. I will know more about service when i begin to travel this weekend. My transition from apple to android is about what i expected. Of course there is a learning curve. Its a give and take. There are definitely things i think are more intuitive on the iphone, but android seemingly has its perks as well. I will know a lot more over the next few weeks as i feel my way through the OS
