I'm really considering pulling the trigger on this: Samsung Laser Printer W/ wifi

But for less than $50, I'm afraid it's junk.
B&W only is fine as I don't use a printer much at home. Just occasionally for various documents. I'd say less than 50-75 pgs a year.
Any recommendations?

The Brother HL-2270DW is basically the GOAT. It's a workhorse and can find good replacement ink for around $12. Not sure why it's so expensive there but they can be found for well under $100. Replacement ink

This seems be the most up to date model Brother HL-2270DW

I have owned or used a few of these low-cost home laser printers, black and white and color, from both Canon and Samsung. They all had two things in common:

1. They all worked very well and produced high-quality prints, way more consistently than any inkjet printer I've owned...

2. ...unless you decided to use anything other than normal paper (I used 24lb and it was fine). Cardstock, labels, business card sheets, etc. were woefully inconsistent. Jams, misalignment, sometimes a label would peel off mid-print and cause a carriage jam. Photo paper did fine, but I never tried to print more than one photo sheet at a time anyway.

Not saying the printer you linked will have that problem (and you may not even care), but it's an interesting enough occurrence for me to note.

I second the Brother props. I have a 2009 model that just sits patiently in another room waiting on my wireless command. Still on the original toner. Definitely get the model with automatic duplex.

Those who own the Brother laser printers, do you ever do any medium volume label printing (like, a series of 5-10 label sheets, card stock, etc.)? I really want to get a good but not expensive laser printer that can accomplish this. Tired of returning them, and even more tired of soaking my inkjet printhead in alcohol every time I need to print something (I don't print often, but when I do print, it's usually a lot of various stuff for work and it needs to look flawless.)

Sorry, don't know about that. I've only used 24 lb HP LaserJet paper.

I bit the bullet and went with an HP color laserjet 200.
