It appears as though Amazon is close to enabling a whole-home-audio feature that will allow customers to synchronize music playback across multiple Amazon Echo and Echo Dot devices, according to a source who has spoken to German blog Caschys (transalation). The blog, which has correctly surfaced information about unreleased Amazon devices and features in the past, claims that internal tests of the new feature have been successful and that we can probably expect the feature to be released soon.

Meh. Those speakers are too low quality for me but I do see the appeal.

The Dot has a line out. Still streaming quality stuff, but i have disjointed indoor/outdoor rigs and am considering adding a small bedroom stereo. Could be a neat way to listen to an Audible book or have get together where in/outside music is sync'd.

@ $350 each I'm going to end up spending $2800 for whole home audio that will probably be good, not great.

Really wish B&O would make a bluetooth H6 headphone

A) You're not that important
B) Even if you were, what do you do in your house that you think a human in the CIA would want to listen in on you for?

I never understand this argument. Unless you're an elected official, high ranking gov't or private company CEO/CIO member or a famous person - who the frick cares about you? (or me for that matter, not picking on you).

That's always been my thought as well. I don't cover the camera on my laptop like some of my friends do because if somebody really wants to tune in and either see my face with a blank expression as I surf TD or see me masturbating, then they are going to be very disappointed.
