Mine doesn't have any of these issues, you should call/email Amazon and try to get a replacement.

You may want to see about getting a replacement as it sounds like you got a lemon.
I'm liking it a lot and can see a lot of possibilities for it as apps get written etc. The Wemo functionality is perfect. Extremely simple to set up and she understands the commands every time.

Ditto. I've had the exact opposite experience- it works seamlessly every time. It easily recognizes my voice commands and never a hiccup when streaming from Pandora, Amazon Music, TuneIn or iHeartRadio. I would ask for a replacement from Amazon.

Got my yesterday. Music is excellent. Really like its ability to hear you around the room. Kids love playing with it... but just be careful with what they say: "How big is Venus?"
