I think they are a great idea, but they don't really have any products that I would use right now.

Did it. Loved it.

I started with Tide Pods, Cottonelle, Glad Bags, and Bounty Paper Towels

You use these for convenience, not price.

Exactly. I live in a small town, my only option is Walmart.

Anything I can do to stay out of there makes me happy.

If they would add

Dog Food
Soap
Shampoo
Dishwashing Pods
Shaving Cream
Tampons (for the wife)
Contact Solution

That would just about eliminate all but groceries from my list. I think.

You can probably get all of those from Amazon Prime Pantry

Anyone read about how Sam Walton built Walmart into what it is today? He stayed on the cutting edge of technology when it came to logistics and inventory control, kind of like what Amazon is doing today.

In the 80's he implemented a concept like the dash button with his suppliers to make sure shelves at stores were always stocked.

I use Tide Pods. Are they cheaper off Amazon than the grocery store?

We actually make our own detergent. It last almost an entire year.

Depends on the grocery store but probably the same price as walmart or something.
